Nubuke Foundation
Activities. The Foundation was established with the primary aim of promoting culture and heritage of Ghana and encourage artistic exchanges. She collaborates with Arthaus, founded by the artist Kofi Setordji for workshops in residence who have hosted artists from Benin, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo, and with the Center for Study, Research -action and Supports for Development (CERAD) for building actions of craftsmen in dyeing and design capabilities. The foundation also has to its credit the organization of exhibitions and publications. Among them, we include a stunning photographic book on Ghana, published in 2006, and Journal of Creative Arts in Ghana which appears 2 times a year since 2009.
Resources. The foundation has equipped offices, a showroom and gardens very suitable for outdoor exhibitions. It employs a few part-time staff and uses volunteers for certain actions.
Professional network. Besides Arthaus and CERAD, the Foundation collaborates with the Institute for Music and Development (IMD) and the Goethe Institute.
Funding. No external funding.
